What is crackerjack Kids?
Crackerjack Kids is a curriculum-linked health and physical education programme for primary schools.
The Crackerjack kids programme was developed by teachers for teachers. It follows the five key areas of the New Zealand Ministry of Education Curriculum (thinking, managing self, relating to others, participating and contributing and language and texts).
How does Crackerjack kids work?
Through a rage of fun-filled games and activities, Crackerjacks teaches kids the physical skills they need to be lead an active life, such as throwing, catching and jumping. The games and activities also teach key life skills such as good attitudes and teamwork. Crackerjacks focuses on positivity and building a child’s confidence; it teaches strategies to make and maintain healthy friendships and take part in school life in a positive way.
