Hall of Fame

The Legends of Sport is our way of recognising the sporting achievements of people from our region.

Every year, as part of the Sporting Excellence Awards, we recognise ‘legends’ of our region by unveiling new additions to this ‘hall of fame’. We have also chosen to add the sports people recognised in Pride of Gisborne’s Famous Faces initiative to the Legends of Sport hall of fame.
